Who Controls The Past Controls The Future. Who Controls the Present Controls The Past

How can someone control the past and the future?

By controlling what in the present we learn from the past and also from the present in order to avoid the same mistakes in the future.

And who controls what we learn from the past and from the present? We have Education Systems, and the Media especially Mass Media.

But like we live around 70 years, and we spend in school an average of 9 to 12 years, we will let Education Systems on the side now, and we will focus on the Media.

Media we can consider television, newspapers, magazines, books, radio, Internet, video games etc.

But like the most of the people don’t read books and Internet is also something that not everyone has access; we will focus our attention in newspapers, magazines and television.

How truly, impartial and independent is the Information we receive thru this sources of information?

When the greatest income for newspapers and magazines comes not from sales to the public, but from advertisement we can seriously question what interests will they serve first. link

We have the example back in 1996, when FOX Television after announced that was gone put on air a TV show about the potential dangerous of Bovine Growth Hormone to Human health, have received a letter from Monsanto, that is the producer of the Hormone in question, threatened FOX Television of severe consequences for the Network in case of the emission of the show. (Monsanto is a big advertiser in FOX Network) Then FOX tried an agreement with the reporters that had written the report for the show, in order to these ones change the content of the report. They had refuse, and the story went on, and on, until they have got out of FOX, sued the channel and won the case in court. link

Another case of influential power inside the Media this time not by Companies, but by Political Power, is the one of the documentary: “Conspiracy of Silence” a documentary about Pedofilie envolving high polititians and other figures from Washigton DC that was even listed for viewing at Discovery Channel in the TV Magazines, but at last moment was take it out of the programs line for the day. link (A link to this documentary in the documentaries section of this blog)

Another factor is the one that even knowing that we never had so many television channels, newspapers, magazines so on so on; also never before these where owned by so few Companies/Persons.

In States there are basically 5 Companies that own the most of not just the most viewed T.V. channels but also the top Hollywood studio producers, Websites, Radio Stations, Magazines and Newspapers. These Companies are: Time Warner Inc., Walt Disney Company, Viacom Inc., News Corporation and CBS Corporation. link

In the case of the News Corporation they also have business in Italy, United Kingdom, Australia, China, Thailand, Philippines and Georgia.

Taking a look at Europe we have that Rothschild Family owns Reuter News Agency since the 1800’s (there is even a commemorative statue in the city of London with the inscription that the Rothschild’s had bought it, so on, so on), and Reuters had bought Associated Press some years ago, so making them have the control over 2 out of 3 of the biggest news agencies in the world.

And according to the research made by Eustice Mullins and showed in his book 'Who Owns the TV Networks' the Rothschild’s have also control over the biggest Networks in States.

In England we have 2 of the most readied newspapers “The Guardian” and “The Observer” being owned by the same Company. link

Other big English newspaper is the “Independent” this newspaper is property of Independent News Media a Company based at Dublin, Ireland that owns not only the “Independent” but more than other 200 printed title, 130 radio stations and more than 100 websites in 22 different countries such as New Zealand, South Africa and India. link

In Portugal we have Media Capital, a Company that owns the most viewed television channel, 6 radio stations owns also an audiovisual producer Company with offices in States and South America, a movie rights distributor for theatres and Video/DVD, a record label and the second largest Internet portal in Portugal and several websites including Facebook Portugal and MySpace Portugal. link

Other Portuguese Company is Impresa that owns a T.V. channel, one of the most readied newspapers, several magazines, comic books and other publications and websites. link

In Italy the Company Mediaset has the control over 4 T.V. channels and 1 newspaper. This Company belongs to a larger holding property of Silvio Berlusconi that includes also Medusa that is a big Company in the cinema sector and Mondadori that is a publishing house that owns several publications. On this case an even higher conflict of interests is raised because Silvio Berlusconi is the Prime Minister of Italy. link

The countries and companies mentioned above are just some random examples, just to try to show that maybe is better don’t be so safe about the independence and impartiality of the information disseminated by the Mass Media and don’t accepted as truth for sure. Instead, analyze it, search other sources of information and compare ideas and opinions with other persons.

And become the Media yourself but a good informative one that spread's Truth and Love among the others.

This text comes as a continuation of the previous one “Artificial Life” where I have talk about Genetic Manipulated Animals and Plants and patents over these ones. But on this text we go to a higher level of patent over Genes.

Genes of pathogens (diseases) are also being patented and controlled by Corporations around the Globe. And it has become a BIG business, not just the property of patents on the genes of pathogens, but the decoding and selling info about these genes. Among the biggest in the business are Incyte, Eli Lilly, Abott Laboratories and Johnson and Johnson.

Among some of the pathogens that have been patented so far we found SARS, Canavan, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Hepatitis C , Breast Cancer. link

But how can someone make business by owning the genes of a disease?? By having the control over the research, creation and sale of diagnosis tests because if a Company owns the patent of the gene, this means that the research to the creation of diagnosis tests for that disease have to be authorized by the Company in question, and like we all know that Companies don’t give anything, especially in Pharmaceutical business, that is one of the biggest and more profitable in the planet.

According to a study directed by Dr. Mildred from Stanford University, and presented at the OECD Workshop on Genetics Inventions in January 2002, 25% of the interviewed American Laboratories had suspended their tests process because of claims by patents holders, and 53% had declined to develop their own improved diagnosis process because relevant patents had been granted already. link

Let’s take for example Malaria. Malaria has 39 different types of patents over it, what it means that research on this disease will be extremely expensive, just in fees and royalties to the Companies that own the patents. link <

One of the more outrageous cases is the one of the patent that Myriad Genetics owns over 2 different types of breast cancer. After got the patent, Myriad has forbidden all the other laboratories from sell the patented or other genetic similar tests for breast cancer. Getting the total monopoly over the market of tests for breast cancer, what it end it up with the price of the tests raise over 400% in some cases. link

Another really bad spooky factor to add to this situation is the fact that 36% of the diseases connected to breast cancer are covered by the mutation of the genes are not possible to detected by this test. Not only this but ALL the blood samples had to be shipped to Myriad Headquarters because the Company don’t grant manufacturing licences.

A very dark side of this question is that the patents are based only in one application of the gene but each gene controls several functions link

But according to the words of the Corporations representatives: “Whoever is the first to patent a DNA sequence for any use can lock up subsequent uses” link

What I’m going to say next is something out of my mind, not something i can prove, or even claim that is truth, is just something that I have thought.

Is no secret to no one the hundreds of farmers that have been sued by Monsanto in States and Canada because of the contamination of the crop fields of these ones by Monsanto patented seeds. This where cases where the farmer’s didn’t have the minimum intention of have Monsanto seed’s in their crops, and the appearing of the seeds in the field where pure accidental, brought to there by the wind or some bird, or in some cases, lots of seeds bought by the farmer that where already contaminated without the knowledge of the involved but even so Monsanto have one all the cases and ceased control over the fields. link

Now and if these Pharmaceutical Companies try to do the same with the Genes over the ones they own patents? Will it be me or anyone else sick with one the patented diseases and suddenly be sued by one of these Companies, because there is a Gene inside me that belong to them and i haven’t pay to have it in me? And as so from that moment the person to who this happens its property of the Company in question? If we analyze the case from a juridical point of view, the Company will win, just like Monsanto have won so far.

Maybe is just me being paranoid. Or maybe not.

Bird flu, swine flu so many dangerous animal diseases suddenly.

But how dangerous really are the Swine and Bird flu?

Deaths caused by Swine Flu (counting only with this occasion, not the previous cases in the 1960’s, 1920’s, etc. ) we have 121 worldwide, and almost half of this ones, are in Mexico only. link

According to the World Health Organization from 2003 to 2009, the number of Human deaths by Bird Flu worldwide was 261. link

Caused only by normal flu, there are 67.000 deaths a year link

Swine Flu have been really dangerous in the past, especially in the years during and imediatly after the First World War, but at the same time we have to consider that the evolution in conditions of Hygiene, Medicine, and in the Communication and Prevention methods are enormous when compared with that time, and as so, it is not probable that a similar situation happen.

So what is the true reason behind all this panic that is bring apart by Governments, World Institutions and Mass Media? Could it be that this diseases are just being used as instruments for something else? And why these diseases appear only in animals that are massively used as Human alimentation, and not in ordinary animals?

Could it be about money?? If we consider that there is only one medicine that can be used against both Bird and Swine Flu (Tamiflu), and that only one Company holds the patent of it (Roch Institute), but Tamiflu was not develop by Roche, but was developed by Gilead Sciences Inc., an American Company, that receives 10% of each Tamiflu shot sold, as part of the agreement of the patent sell to Roche and that Gilead had as Chairman until the year 2000 Donald Rumsfeld (The U.S. Secretary of Defence for W. Bush) and that this still gets money from Gilead maybe we can understand little bit better why all this panic environment created around it. link

But could it money justify it all? The stocks of Tamiflu that were supposed to last years have been sold in less than nothing, and the list of orders is so big, that the producers of the vaccine don’t have how to answer so many demands. link link

So with so much money made, after the Bird Flu, doesn’t seem that money is the justification (or only justification) for the panic surrounding the Swine Flu.

So what could it justify the creation of so much fear and panic around these diseases? Or, could it be, that the idea is to be afraid of the animals itself, and not of the diseases?

Laurence Tiley, Professor of Molecular Virology at Cambridge University:

“Once we have regulatory approval, we believe it will only take between four and five years to breed enough chickens to replace the entire world population,” Professor Tiley said. “Developing flu-resistant chickens has clear benefits for human health and animal welfare, as we wouldn’t have to slaughter chickens around the world. Chickens provide a link between the wild bird population, where avian influenza thrives, and humans, where new pandemic strains can emerge. Removing that bridge will dramatically reduce the risk posed by avian viruses.”

At the same time, Monsanto tried to put a patent on a Pig. But the case have raised so much public talk, the Monsanto decide it to abandon the project selling the part of the Company that was responsible for genetic development with animals. But the new Company still carry on the project.

Let’s see if a not so far away future, some scientist or researcher for a company will appear saying that the solution for the Swine Flu will be Pigs Genetically Manipulated in order to be immune to the Flu.

We all now, how negative the public opinion is about Genetic Manipulated Organisms, even politicians and institutions across the world have raised their voice against this type of Organisms.

But is there any reason why we should not acept GMO‘s and the incorporation of these ones in or food chain?

The answer is all of the reasons to be at least suspicious, not to say totally against it.

First: Not just the idea of a life form be treated like a product out of a factory is repugnant, consider this life form a Human invention is very arguable. First because all the creatures are a Nature creation, and as so they belong to everyone and to no one at the same time, no one can claim right over something that belongs to Nature. And even the claim of the companies like Monsanto, DuPont, Bayer, BASF (this are just the biggest ones, not the totality of them), that they actually have developed new life forms, with a totally different Gene, and as so they have the right of patent, because is a “invention” do not bring much more ethic or moral in to the question.

Especially because the most of the times, this patents are illegal, because they are not truly new Genes, but simply normal animals that are infected with diseases or have been used chirurgical operation on them, in order to transform it. Or in the case of the patent that Monsanto have claimed over the Breeding process and the Pig Genes resulting out of this, what they have done is not more than a specific combination of methods of crossbreeding using artificial insemination already existing and in use; and the Gene sequence coming out of it, is not a Monsanto invention, but just a natural variation of the Gene.

And also, not just Monsanto claims rights over the breeding process, and the genetic indicators, but also the entire pig population related to it. This is the offspring produced by the method; the entire pig population produced by the method, and the pigs that carry the Gene patented.

Like the patent claims rights in Africa, United States, Europe, Russia, Australia, Brazil, Mexico this would give the company that owns the patent control over pretty much the entire pig population.

Second: The safety to Human consumption of these organisms in a medium/long time period not had been proved. Not just that, but the way they are tested to be see if they can be put on sale or not is ridiculous, to not say more.

The method used is called: “Substance Equality”. That basically works like this: They take for example a Gene from a Cow and put them in the Pig. If both the Cow and the Pig are known to be safe to Human alimentation, than the new Pig that comes out of the crossing between the Genes, is safe also.

The same principle is applied in Genetic Manipulated Plants, even knowing that for example BT-Corner is a crossing between an Herbicide and Corner. I would like to see, where it says that herbicides are not harmful to Humans.

Even knowing that on these days, all the GMO that come in food have to be labelled, giving us the option of buying it or not, the same will not happen after the end of 2009 when Codex Alimentarius is to start to be totally applied. According to Codex, there is no need to label the aliment as a GMO or not.

Third: The nutrient levels in all the GMO are incredible low when compared with natural organic products, this happen both in animals, and plants genetic manipulated. link

Fourth: Some products developed by the biggest companies in this field are not what we can consider the most public friendly. From Monsanto we have Bovine Growth Hormone; from Bayer we have Heroin, and a endless numbers of chemicals, pesticides and herbicides, the same with BASF. Also Monsanto have been charged with many different accusations from dumping toxic waste in the U.K, environmental pollution in Illinois and Alabama. And is very public the hundreds of farmers that Monsanto have sued in States and Canada, because of supposed violation of Intellectual Property over seeds that Monsanto own the patents. Because the farmers have got Monsanto seeds, in their crops that where brought by wind or birds. link

So, with so many well proved arguments against it, it will be very hard to GMO Companies to make us accept the GMO products, unless they prove them to be the final hope for our survival, that only creating genetic manipulated animals immune to diseases we could rest in peace, free from the fear of diseases passed to us by animals.

A Wolf in a Sheep skin

Little more than 100 days have pass since Barack Hussein Obama inauguration as President of United States. People all around the planet, from United States, to Europe, from Africa, to South America, everywhere, celebrating the victory of Obama, like if each and every single one of them had voted for him, like if it was the President of everyone, the President of the World.
On that day, 20 of January, it’s almost like if Christ it self, have come down to Earth again, that all the Evil and Injustice on the Earth would cease immediately just because of this man election.
Off course that it’s good that Bush time had come to an end; after all, in the past 8 years, we have seen and heard some of the History biggest lies, and scams. Since 9/11, passing thru the Iraq War to the biggest economical crises since 1930, everything about George W. Bush period as president was bad.
But why will Obama be different? If we look to the past, we clearly see that in the beginning almoust all the politicians look good, and fair, and that at the end, all of them are just a bunch of cynical hypocrite liars, that serve the interests of the elite that had put them in power, not the one's from the People that have elected him.
So why do you think Obama is different? Because he is a Democrat? Because off his political opinions and promises? Because he say nice things?
Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, among others, where also from the Democratic Partied,also had good ideas, and also had said nice things,do this tell you something??
When the biggest donators/supporters of both parties, are the same, do you believe that it will make a difference, if it is a Republican or a Democratic winning?

And when you have a Democratic Administration, packed up with Republicans members and supporters, like the case of the Secretary of Defence Robert Gates, the State Department Special Envoy Henry Kissinger, the Presidential Advisor Allan Greenspan, just to mention some. Do you still believe it will be that different?

There is also other spooky factor, about Obama Administration. With a closer look, we see that the most and more important members have other allegiances, not just to the parties they come from, but also, too some Public or not so Public Think Tanks and Organizations, witch the more knowed are the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, or the for some time very secretiv, Bilderberg Club; just like in the Administrations of Jimmy Carter, George Bush, Bill Clinton or George W. Bush.
There are members of the current Administration that belong to one, or several of this Organizations, and Think Tanks, the administration members listed here, are just some of the more important ones:
Secretary of Treasury - Timothy Geithner: Member off the Trilateral Commission, Council in Foreign Relations, and Bilderberg Group.

Lets now analize the personal, professional, and political, background of some of the members of the Administration

Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, not much to say about this “lady”, caught lying over and over again in several different situations, (something that both members of the Clinton family, have used us, thru out the years), having a process against her, running in the courts, because of her, illegal fund raising, when running to the Senate, among some others not so clear situations. link

Our poor good Obama have chosen to run the Treasury that is the department of the State that deals with the Federal Reserve, no more, or less than the Ex President of the Federal Reserve in New York.
First thing, to know, is that the Federal in the Federal Reserve is just a word, a name; it doesn’t mean that the Federal Reserve is a Federal Institution, under U.S. Government jurisdiction, because the truth is, that the Federal Reserve is a private owned Company, owned and controlled by six share holders all of them private banks, from witch only one is American; the Rockefellers thru the Morgan Chase Bank, that is far away from wish or represent the best interess of the American or the World People. So, basically what we have is, one ex-employee of this private owned Corporation, being selected to be the government responsible for interact with the Corporation.
If this is not an interest of conflicts, then I don’t know what is.

And even better, as his Special Presidential Advisor we have the great Ex-Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Allan Greenspan, that was the chairman of the FED from 1987 until 2006. So we have the forehead of these private banks, being the special advisor to the President, about Finance and Economics. Nice one!!!!

Let’s now analyze Obama decisions, and actions after this first 100 days in the lead.

One of the biggest campaign promises, was that Obama would not choose lobbyist to his Administration, making even everything very clear about it, when he wrote a rule, basically saying that if a person was a lobbyist in a period of 2 years before start working in the White House, could not be selected to the administration, and even if not being a registered lobbyist, if it had as been employer or client of some lobbyist or government contracted company, the same rule was to be applied.

But have this rule be followed? The answer is just a simple, straight “No”.

Starting with William J. Lynn III, that was nominated by Obama, to be the Deputy Secretary of Defence, when he was one of the biggest lobbyists for Raytheon, that is one of the largest Defence Contractors. link

After he nominated as a Middle East Envoy George Mitchell, that even knowing that was not a registered lobbyist, was the Chairman of DLA Piper, a law firm, that is a lobbyist, having lobbied Federal Agencies, members of the U.S. House and 24 Senate Offices, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton during 2006 and 2007. There is also the fact of DLA Piper, have several offices in Middle East, from Dubai to Kuwait, have a constructing firm, contracted in Iraq, and have as affiliation with a law firm on Saudi Arabia, once again, its not just going against the rules, that the own Obama had define, but also the conflict of interests is notorious. link

To be the CIA Director another controversial nomination Leon Panetta.
Not just the leak of knowledge and experience was enough to contest this nomination, there is also the bending of the lobbyist rules, and the conflict of interests that this nomination brings.
Even knowing that like George Mitchell, Leon Panetta, is not registered as a lobbyist, he bend the rules, by having got money for some of the companies, that are big lobbyist, and contractors with the White House, and/or Pentagon.
According to documents, delivered by Mr. Panetta, to the U.S. Senate of when is nomination to the CIA Director Position, Mr Panetta, have received more than 700.000 U.S. Dollars during 2007, from several different companies, and entities. And some of them can bring a clear conflict of interests.
Mr Panetta, have got 56.000 U.S. Dollars from Merryl Lynch. & Co;. because of 2 speaches he had make for them, and had got 28.000 US Dollars from Wachovia Corp also because 1 speach. Both this companies, Merryl Lynch and Wachovia, where bought by other companies, last year. Merryl Lynch by Bank of America and Wachovia by Wells Fargo both of them very big in the Bank Lobby, the list continues, this time with 28.000 U.S. Dollars because of a speach to the Carlyle Group, Carlyle Group is one of the biggest contractors with in the Pentagon, and the American Defence.
In the same list, come that the “Pacific Maritime Association” has paid to Mr Panetta, something like 60.000 U.S. Dollar, for a service described as Governmental Advisor Fee. The “Pacific Maritime Association” is one of the lobbyists in the Federal Government regarding terrorism laws that affect shipping.
And there is also EduCap. Inc a non profit firm, that is being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service.
EduCap. Inc has donated to Leon & Sylvia Panetta Institute for Public Policy 50.000 U.S. Dollars, and provided flights on its corporate jet to several Washington figures. link

Other of his election period promises, was the one referring to NAFTA, many times Obama had said, that he would review NAFTA, that it was bad for the Americans, so on, so on.
But the naked truth is that at the same time he was making this statements, Austin Gooles, one of the senior members in his campaign team, was calling Canadian officials, saying to them not worry about it, that it was just campaign talking. link And as the recent declarations of the Admnistration about the subject prove, it was really just campaign talking. link

Other of his campaign promises, was that after he was elected, in maximum 16 months after, all the troops would be out of Iraq.

But, what in reality the executive order says, is that Obama, will thing in close Guantanamo and other prisons, in a year or so.
Not just the executive order doesn’t state that any prison will be closed for sure, as it also keep allowing the use of renditions (that is not more than secret abductions), and the sending of persons, illegally made it prisoner, to this secret prisons. link

About the so talked, Anti Missile Shield, beeing constructed in East Europe, not only Obama supports totally the idea, as he have even expand it, from Poland to Czech Republic, and preparing to advance with other component of it, in Lithuania.
Can we see here, an attempt, of annoying Russia?

At the same time, that Obama claims, that he will remove the troops from Iraq, he send 30.000 more marines to Afghanistan. The reason? Obama has decided that U.S. should attack the northern of Pakistan.

John was very excited, while he practices once more, the speech he would make in the morning of the day after, in front of the entire village. He has always wish prestige and power, and now he’s dreams, where about to become reality.

He was a handcrafter that worked with gold and silver, making jewellery and ornaments, but he was not happy in have to work for living, He need it enthusiasm, a challenge, and now he’s plan was ready to start.

Generation, after generation, people have use the system of swap.

This means that a man, would get to his family the things need it to survive, by specialise himself in some type of work. What he would get from his work that was more than he need it, he would then trade for the rest the things he need it.

One day at the market was always noisy and dusty; but people enjoy the screams and salutations. It used to be a happy place, but now it was just too much people, too much arguing.

There was no longer time for a good chat. It was definitely need it a better system.

In each community, a simple govern have been created, in order to guarantee that freedom’s and the right’s of the persons where respected, and that no man would ever been forced by any other man, or group of mans to do something against his own will.

This was the only purpose of the government and each governor that was supported voluntarily by the local community that have elected him.

However, the market day was a problem that people couldn’t fix. How many corn basket’s, worth a cow? A cow worth it more or less than a bull car? And so on, so on, but no one has ever thought in a better system.

It was the morning of the speech, the entire village have gathered in the main square to listen John talk.

And so, John started to explain to everyone the new system, that he has called “money”.

Sound like a good idea, the people have said. But how we gone start to put him in practice, the people have ask.

And John answers them:

“The gold that I use in my jewels is an excellent metal. Don’t loose the shine, it won’t get rusty and it will last many, many years. I’ll melt down, some of my own gold in pieces, and we will call each one of the pieces “coin””

He has explained how the values would work, and how that “money” would really work as a cambium value.

A much better system, than the old swap system.

Then, one of the governors’s, said: “Some persons can find gold and make “coins” by themselves”

“That would be serious unfair” John said, like if he already have an answer ready. ”Only the coins approved by the govern can be used, and they will have a special mark in to them”

That sound it reasonable, and it was purpose that each man got an equal number of “coins”. “Only I deserve the bigger amount” said the candle maker. “Everyone use my candles”. ”No”, said the farmer, “without food, there is no life, so for sure, we deserve the biggest amount of “coins””. The argue have continued.

John have let them argue for a while, and then said:” Like u don’t reach an agreement, I purpose that each one of you, get from me, the amount of coins that each one need. There will be no limit, except by the capacity of paying back. The more “money” you get, the more you will have to return at the end of the year”

“And what is your payment?” The people have asked to John.

“Like, I am providing too you a service, that is the production of the “money”, you will give me right to receive payment for my work. Let’s say that for each 100 “coins” that each one of your get, you will have to return to me, 105 for each year that you keep that doubt.

Thus 5 extra “coins” will be my payment, and I will call that payment of “interests”.

Didn’t seem to exist a better solution, and 5% a year, didn’t look much.

“Return the next Friday and will start” John said to the people.

John didn’t loose time. He has make “coins” day and night, and by the end of the week the work was done.

The persons have make a line to get in his shop, and after the “coins” have been examined and approved by the governor’s, the system was officially adopted.

Some persons ask just some “coins”, and get out trying the new system.

People, simply love the new system, and soon, every thing have a value in “coins”.

The cost that they have put on each thing was then called the “price”, and the “price” would vary, basically according to the quantity of work need it to produce the thing.

If it was need it a lot of work, then the “price” would be hi, if it was a fast production thing, then the price would be low.

In one city lived Richard that was the only clock maker in that city. His prices where hi, because his customers where anxious to pay to get one of his watches.

Then, other person started to make watches, and offered them at a lower “price” in order to obtain more sales. Richard was then forced to get his “prices” lower, and after the “prices” have fall, both man’s tried to offer the best quality, by the lowest price. This was the genuine “Free Competition”.

Then the same thing has happen with the constructors, the land operator, farmers, at the end, in all the business, The customers choose always what the felt was the best deal, they have freedom of choose. There was no artificial protection, like licences, or special fees, that complicate the coming of new people in some kind of business.

The life status have elevate, and after a while, people start wondering, how was possible, they have lived all this time with out “money”.

At the end of the year, John gets out of his shop and went to visit everyone that owns him money.

Some persons have more than what they have borrowed, but this mean that the other persons, have less, because in the beginning it have only been delivered, a limited quantity of “coins”.

The ones that have more “coins” than what they have borrow, have paid what they have borrow, plus the 5 extra “coins” for each 100 “coins” they got. But they have to borrow more “coins” again, in order to keep the process.

The others that didn’t have the totality of the “money” to pay back find out by the first time, that they have a “depth”. Before borrow more “money” to them, John took some of the things they own, as a guarantee.

And after this, each one have left, trying desperately to get thus 5 extra “coins” that started to seem so hard to get.

No one have realize that the Country has one, would never leave the depth, until all the coins as been delivered, but even if this was achieved, there was always the 5 extra “coins” that have never been put in circulation, for each 100 that have been put in circulation.

No one, excepting John have realize that was impossible to everyone pay the “interests”, because thus extra “coins” have never been put in circulation, so it would always miss some coins to someone.

It’s true that John was also spending some “coins”, but he alone, couldn’t spend as much as

5% of the total economy of the Country. There were thousands of persons, and John was just one. Plus, he was a jewellery maker, living a very pleasant life.

In the back of his shop, John has a vault, and people started to thing that for security, was better to leave some “coins” there. John would then charge a small quantity, depending on the amount of money, and the time that the money would stay there, and he would give to the owner of thus coins a receipt for each deposit.

Whenever a person was out make shopping, normally he would carry many coins. That person would deliver to the salesman, one of the John receipts according to the value of the shops.

The salesman, would recognize the receipt as valid, and would accept him, to later deliver him to John, and receive the value of the receipt in “coins”. The receipts pass from hand to hand, instead of the own gold. The people have a total trust in the receipts, and accepted them so well as the “coins”

Short after, John realizes, that it was very uncommon, that someone would ask the coins back.

And he starts thinking: “Here am I, with all this gold, and still have to work hard as a handcrafter, it doesn’t make sense. There are a lot of people that would be very happy, of pay me “interests” for the use of this gold, that is standing here, and that the owners, almost ever asking him back.

It’s true that the gold doesn’t belong to me, but it’s at my responsibility, and that all that cares. Basically, I don’t need to make any more “coins”; I can just use the ones that are staying here in the vault.

In the beginning, he was very carefully, lowing only some coins at a time, and only if he was sure, that the person would pay back. But after a while, he started to get more trustful, and started to borrow bigger and bigger amounts.

One day, someone has asked for a very big amount of “money”. John then suggest to the person:

“Instead of carry all thus “coins” with you, we can make a deposit, in your name, and ill give you the receipts, with the value of the “coins”.

The person have agreed, and left the shop with the receipts.

He has got his loan, but the “money” was still in John possession.

After the customer leave, John has smiled. He could borrow “money”, to the people, and still, keep the same amount of “money”, in the vault.

The friends, the outsiders, even the enemies need it “money”, in order to keep with their business, and as long, as they could assure the return, of the money, they could borrow as much as they need it. Just by writing receipts, John was able to “borrow” several times the amount of “money” he possessed; even knowing that he was not even the owner of that money. All was safe, as long as the true owners, didn’t ask for they money back, as long, no one suspected anything.

There was a book, where he kept the records of the loans, and deposits of each person. In fact the loans business was being really lucrative.

His social position in the community was growing almost as fast as his richness.

He was becoming an important and respectful man. In the economic matters his opinion was taken his high consideration.

The jewellery makers of the other cities started to be curious about his activities, and one day call him to a meeting. John have then explain to them what he was doing, but have make them see also, how important was for them to keep the secret. If the plan was expose, everything would failure, and so, all of them have agree in make their own secret alliance.

Each one of them return to their cities, and started to work in the way that John have teach them.

Everyone was accepting “receipts” just like if they where the gold”coins”, and many of the “receipts” where then put in safe, the same way as the “coins”.

Whenever a salesman, need it to but some things, from other one, he would simply write a note to John, saying that he was giving permission to transfer some “money “from his account, to the other salesman account.

John would only need some minutes to change the numbers in his records book.

This system has become very popular in short time, and the small notes, with the transfer permission, would then call “cheque”.

Later, in one night, the jewellery makers have other secret meeting, where John has reveal to them a new plan.

In the day after, they have set up a meeting with all the governors, and John started:

“The “receipts” that we are using, have become very popular, no doubt the most of you, the governors, are using them, and believe they are very convenient.” All the governors have agreed, and they were curious what the problem was then.

“Well”, John continued, “in first place, some of the “receipts” are been copied, by forge makers. This is something that has to stop”.

Concerned the governors have asked: “What can we do?” John answers them: “I make the proposal of first: the responsibility of printing, a new type of “receipts” in a special paper, with very complicated draws. Each bill will then be signed by the main governor. We the jewellery maker’s, can pay the costs with the impression, because this new system will save us a lot of time, that we spend signing all the “receipts”. To this new “receipt” we will call him “bill”.

The governors have thought: “Well its our duty, protect the people, against this forgers, and the proposal you make, seems a good idea”. They have agreed then, in print the new “receipts” or “bills”.

“In second place”, John has said, “Some persons, have make some diggings, found some gold, and are making they own gold “coins”. I advice that u pass a law, that say that anyone that found gold, have to deliver it.

Off course this persons will then be paid with “coins” and “bills”.

It was sounding like a good idea, and with out thing much more about it, they have printed a large quantity of new “bills”. Each “bill” has a value impress on her, of 1, 2, 5, 10, etc, etc. The small printing costs where paid by the jewellery makers.

The “bills” where easy to carry, and in short time where easy accepted by the people.

Even knowing that “coins” and “bills” where very appreciated, they where only used in 10% of all transitions. The registers show it that the “cheque” system was used in 90% of all business.

The next phase in John plan has started. So far, people was paying John, in order to him keep they money safe. In order to attract more money to his vault, John starts offer to the people that put money, safe in his vault, 3% over all money that each depose it.

The most of the people, believed that he was re-borrowing they money too someone who asked a loan, with 5% interests, and that his profit was the difference of 2% between what he was paying to the people that put money in the vault, that was 3% and what he was charging to anyone who borrowed from him, that was 5%, and people didn’t care that much anyway, because it was much better get 3% profit, than have to pay, to put your money in a safe place.

The amount of deposits have grow, and with all the extra amount of money in the vault, John could now borrow, 200, 300, 400 and some times even 900 in “coins” and “bills” for each 100 that he have in the vault. As long as he didn’t pass the relation of 9 to 1, it was safe, because one of each ten persons, want it the “money” back.

If there was no “money” available when was asked, people would get suspicious, because the record books would show how much they have deposit. Even so, over the 900 that the book showed that John has borrowed, writing “cheques”, he could charge until 45 in “interests”, that is 5% of 900. When the loan plus the “interests” where then return, the 900 where cancelled in the depth book, and John keep the 45 of “interests” to him. So off course he was more than happy, in pay 3 “coins” of “interest” over 100 that was originally deposited at the vault, and that in reality have never left the vault. This means, that for each 100 that he keep in the vault, it was possible to get a 42% profit, while the most of the people, thought he was only making 2% profit. The other jewellery makers, where doing the same thing. They created money out of nothing, only with they signatures in a “cheque”, and still charging “interests” over him.

It’s true that they where not making the money, the government printed the “bills” and deliver them to the jewellery maker’s to be distributed. The only cost that John was having was the small cost of the impression. Meanwhile, they were creating credit money that was coming out of nothing, and over this credit money, was the “interests” that was been charged. The most of the people believed that the provision of the money was a government operation. They also believed that John was loaning them, the money that someone else have deposit, but was very strange that none of the deposits, went smaller, when John borrow money to someone. If everyone has tried to take out the deposits at the same time, the scam would be discovered.

There was no problem, when someone asked for a loan in “coins” or “bills”. John, simply explain to the government that because of the increase of population and production, more “coins” and “bills” where need it, and he would get them, by the small cost of the impression.

One day, a very intelligent man, went to visit John. “This “interest” charge is not correct”, he said, “for each 100 ”coins”, that u borrow to someone, you are asking 105 “coins” back. But thus 5 “coins” extra, can never be paid, because they don’t exist”.

“The farmer’s produce food, the industrials produce good’s, and so on, whit everyone, but you just produce money. Suppose that there are only two company’s owners in the entire Country, and that we give job to the rest of the population. We ask you a loan of 100 “coins” each one, we pay 90 “coins” in salary’s and costs, and we keep 10 as profit (our salary): That means that the total buying power of the population is 90 “coins” plus 10 “coins”, multiplied by two, this means is 200 “coins”. But if in order to pay you back, we have to sell or entire production for 210 “coins”. If one of us have success and sell all the production for 105 “coins”, then the other man can only hope in get 95 “coins”, and even if he tried to sell some of his good’s to get the rest of the money, that will not be possible, because there is no more money to buy them.

Have obtaining only 95 “coins”, the second company owner, will still owning you 10 “coins”, and he could only pay you back, if he get another loan. This system is impossible”.

The man continued, “You should produce 105 “coins”, that was 100 for me, and the other 5, for your spends. This way there would be 105 “coins” in circulation, and the depth could be paid.

John have listen in silence, and finally said: “Economic finance, is a very deep subject my friend, and it require years of study. Let me worry about thus subjects, and you worry about your subjects. You should become more efficient, increase your production, reduce your costs, and become a better company owner. I will always available to help you, in thus subject’s.

The man have left, but still not convinced, there was something wrong with John operations, and he felt his questions have been avoided.

However, the most of the people believed and trust in John – “He is the expert, the others should be wrong. Just look how the Country has developed. The best thing is leave them take care of thus subject’s.

In order to pay the “interests” over the loans they have asked, the salesman had to increase the “price” of they products.

The working class, complain that the salaries where too low. The company’s owners refuse to pay higher salaries, saying that it was not possible. The farmers could not get higher prices for they production. The house wife’s complaining that the aliments were too expensive.

Finally, some people went on “strike”, something that no one has ever heard before. Others have been severely affected by poverty, and his friends and family didn’t have “money” to help them. The most of them have forgotten that the true richness is around us: the fertile lands, the great’s woods, the minerals the animals.

They only thought about “money”, that always seems to miss. But they never have questioned the system. They believed that the government was in control of it.

Some few of them, have saved some excess money, and have created loan companies, or “financial companies”. They could get 6% or more, this way, that was better than the 3% that John was paying, but they could only borrow the “money” that they possess. – They didn’t have the strange power to create “money” out of nothing, simply registering some numbers in a book.

This financial companies in some way, worried John and his friends, so, immediately, they start formed they own companies. In the most of the cases, they bought the other companies; before they started doing they own operations. In short time, all the financial companies or belong to them, or where under they control.

The economic situation got worst. The working class, was shore that the company owners where having a lot of profit. The owners said that the working class was lazy, and that they were not working prop ably, everyone blamed everyone.

The governors could not get a solution, and more important than that, was fighting the up growing poverty.

The government have then, put in practice some plans, and have make laws, forcing the people to contribute with them. These have made people anger. They believed in the old idea, of volunteering helping.

“This new laws are no more, than a legalized assault. Take out something from someone against his will, independently of the purpose to witch will be used, its no different from still.

But each person felt himself defenceless, and was afraid of the possibility of end it up at jail, if he failed the payment. The government stopped to ask money directly to John, but started to use a bonus system against the central bank. The guarantee offered was the calculated income from the next year taxes. This was going according to John plan – Take the attention from his person, and put the attention in an supposedly government institution. Behind the curtains, he was still in control.

Indirectly, John has such a control over the government, that this was forced to follow his instructions. He used to say: “Give me control over a country money, and I give no worry about his laws”.

It didn’t matter which partied was elected to rule, John have the control over the money, the vital “blood” of the Country.

The government was obtaining the money, but the “interests” was always accumulating after each loan. Each time, more money was spend in helping plans, and unemployment cheques, and shortly after, the government was having problems in pay even the “interests” not to talk in loan.

Meanwhile there was more and more persons, who started ask themselves: “If the “money” is a system created by Man, then there must be a way to put the “money” serving the people, instead of being the people serving the “money”. But fewer and fewer persons where thinking this, and this thought got silent in the madness of searching the un existing “money” to pay the “interests”.
